View from the London Eye back in 2011.
So here’s my little Lowepro family so far: Transit Sling 250 AW (left), Passport Sling III (centre), DSLR Video Fastpack 250 AW (right). I did a blog post for Lowepro back in May, documenting my day with the new Passport Sling III. Check it out if you haven’t seen it!
I’m currently getting ready to go to the PGA Championship in Kentucky next month, and these bags are all coming with me! They’re great for events when you don’t need to carry a massive amount with you. Each will have their purpose, and I will be posting a lot on Instagram when I’m there (when allowed, of course).
Also, I have a bunch of in-stock prints on sale ($20 off!) in my Etsy shop, and any print sales go towards gear purchases and rentals. The code is “PGACHAMP14”. Show some love :) I’ll have more information on that tonight. Sale ends August 1st (Prints will not be shipped until after the PGA Championship).
I have 8 prints of “Under” left, all are sized at 12x18” with a matte finish and white border to help with matting and framing.
Use the code “JULY4TH” to receive $20 off your entire purchase! :)
67+ million year old dust. That’s how I like my boots. (at The Academy of Natural Sciences)
This is the reason I haven’t been posting much photography lately: surface cleaning 67 million year old Edmontosaurus dental battery.
I’m also excavating some Tyrannosaurus fossils.
Hopefully will be posting more photography soon, but fossil prep lab > everything else :D (at The Academy of Natural Sciences)
SQUARESPACE: A better web starts with your website.
For both amateur and professional photographers, an online portfolio isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. It’s the place where the world will see your very best collection of photographs. It’s where your fans decide on if they want to follow you and where brands and potential clients will rate the quality of your work to determine whether they will hire you. Among all the platforms that My Modern Met has tried out, Squarespace rated the highest in terms of ease of use, design, and quality with its assorted templates, beautiful simplicity, and great features.
My portfolio site is run with Squarespace, and I’ve had the best experience since I joined! Easy to customise, work with, and they have phenomenal customer service.
If you’re in the market for an easy and beautiful site builder, Squarespace is it.
Not the best photo quality, but for a Sony Cybershot from 2000/2001, it did what I needed - capture the adventure of my trip to Europe.
Today marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day, and I’ll never forget stepping onto the beaches of Normandy. Fossilised sandbags, disintegrated bunkers, upheaved earth, the calm of the ocean…
It was an amazing experience to have at the age of 16. It’s been a long time since I was in France now, and I cannot wait to retrace my steps from 2006 with a new outlook on life and high-end photography gear!
Just listed these two babies in my etsy shop!
Look at my friend’s awesome mugs.
They’re beautiful. Seriously, I’ve handled her work in person and I’m obsessed.
