This colour display was done completely in camera; no photoshopping, filters, or presets. All that was done in Lightroom was fixing things like shadows, highlights, whites, blacks, and contrast since it was shot in RAW.
This effect is the result of three things: the polariser filter on my lens, the window I had during the flight, and the angle of the sunlight hitting said window. Pretty cool, right? I ended up liking the effect – and knowing it would happen either way because of those circumstances – I played with it throughout the trip. This is one of my favourites that I’ve processed so far, and I will post more in the future.

THE NEW PORTFOLIO IS LIVE!
Finally – after many months of longing – I’ve joined Squarespace. I tried a two week trail back in late 2013, uploaded photos, designed each page, and had wonderful chats with Squarespace's amazing 24/7 customer service. I wasn't able to afford the Unlimited account until one of my best friends ever gave me the first year as a gift. With that in place, I was able to start right back up where I left off in the two week trial, and I'm still working hard at making it perfect.
If you’re looking for a great place to host a portfolio/website, I strongly suggest Squarespace. Out of all the companies I tried out, I was left in awe of the quality and dedication that the SS Team has accomplished.

Go and check it out and let me know what you think. I will also be adding a store to my website where you can purchase (limited edition) prints!

I am so incredibly blessed. Thanks to overwhelming support from friends and family, enough money was raised and donated to my recovery fund to allow me to purchase a new laptop. You’ve given me back my base of operations, and for that, I am incredibly thankful. To those of you who have donated and supported me getting me back on my feet - thank you. I may not have a camera or lens yet, but having my base of operations back is already proving incredibly beneficial to recovering.

You guys RULE! I’ll be back on my feet in no time. This truly, honestly means the world. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without you. (at Dripp)

FOLLOWERS! About a week ago, fellow photographer and friend, David Talley, had all of his gear stolen in San Francisco: DSLR body, lens, battery grip, bag, laptop, and tons more. He’s been incredibly positive throughout such a trying time, which is so inspiring to me because I would have lost my mind if my stuff had been stolen!
With the help of friends, family, and fans, he’s been able to begin the process of recovering his livelihood and passion. David has been such a huge inspiration to me for photography, and has also been a wonderful person to help me with my work. If you have a few dollars to spare, donating to the recovery fund would be super awesome. Here are some links to get you started:
